What started as an idea in the spring of 2022, for how VilVite could reimagine their Energy gallery - has become a reality in 2024. Energibyen (lit. Energy City) brought some challenges: with big infastructure in place that needed to be accounted for as well as accounting for some existing exhibits and implementing them into the new exhibition. Energibyen is designed to give visitors a full view of energy. From the way that power is created, to transmitted, to used and even how the choices in their lives effect those uses. It has a good mix of both digital and phenomena based exhibits to ensure visitors have variety in the visit.
