In September 2013, Hüttinger received the contract for the conception, design and build of two interactive exhibition units. FlexGen, a complex energy landscape model, and the dry lignite boiler model (TBK) demonstrate the flexibilization of lignite-based power generation for the generation of electricity in lignite-fired power plants combined with a reduction in CO2 emissions. The models were presented to the public in July and November 2014.
