Extraterrestres. ¿Hay vida fuera de la Tierra? - Extraterrestrials: Is there life outside Earth? explores the fascination that the idea of the existence of extraterrestrial life has caused us, how we have imagined worlds beyond our own and projects some possible futures through science and technology. The exhibition comprises interactive elements, models, artefacts and audiovisual material. The gallery starts by situating us in the cosmos, because understanding our place in it is what leads us to wonder whether extraterrestrial life exists; it outlines the philosophical dilemma it would pose; it shows how the human imagination has reflected worlds beyond our own in art, film and literature; and, through scientific evidence, it projects some possible futures if inhabited planets were to be discovered. A journey to get excited thinking that there are other beings in the universe. The last two areas, The Search and Are We Alone? explore how science and technology are advancing to find new worlds and how we might communicate with other beings in the future. We had the pleasure to design and build interactives for Extraterrestres.
