In 1998 Hüttinger was awarded the design and build contract for the development of a new gallery at Lake Constance Museum of Nature, specialized in the special ecology of Lake Constance. The museum is an independent attraction within the facilities of the Sea Life Centre, which was opened to the public in May 1999.
