Diehl’s Future Cabin was certainly one of the most spectacular exhibits at AIX 2024. The mock-up offers a glimpse into the future of the passenger cabin, with windows completely rethought and partially replaced by displays. Bionic structures – inspired by nature – with recyclable materials allow weight reduction while meeting the highest design standards.
The CANSAS exhibit demonstrated the company’s latest developments in ‘cabin area network system and services’, which serves as the modular, scalable baseline central control panel for nearly all aircraft functions related to the cabin, including cabin lighting, intercommunication devices, galley and lavatory controls, and cabin functions like fire protection and water waste systems.
It was a great pleasure for us to design engineer and manufacture both exhibits.
